Community Summer Celebration Brings Neighbors Together

 

The International District Food Hub and IDHCC welcomed neighbors for a Community Summer Celebration filled with good food, conversation, and connection.

Families gathered to enjoy a shared meal featuring traditional beef hot dogs, vegan hot dogs, and grilled Portobello mushroom burgers, ensuring there was something for everyone. More than just a meal, the celebration created space for neighbors to connect, strengthen relationships, and enjoy the start of summer together.

Events like these remind us that health begins with community. Sharing food, spending time together, and creating welcoming spaces are all part of building healthier, more connected neighborhoods.
