Zia Martinez have been farming in ABQ NM going on 8 years now. Zia joined a youth farming internship in 2015, at Cornelio Candelaria Organics located in the south Valley and since then have been involved in traditional farming and youth work.  Most recently Zia was running the Robert F. Kennedy Farm to School Program, as well as working as an Education Assistant in their welding, auto body shop and culinary arts classes.  Zia is currently the Bernco Urban Ag Coordinator, which is focused in the International District. Zian addition Zia is hired through SouthWest Organizing Project to manage the Project Feed the Hood community garden.
